YUCCA
Yucca is a voice and guitar duo formed by Liepa Sinickaitė (vocals, guitar) and Milda Orvydaitė (guitar), creating warm and intimate music. The project brings together vocals and two classical guitars, blending folk and alternative influences with Lithuanian poetry and fado-inspired guitar playing. Their music focuses on honest emotions and storytelling, with a soft, natural, and sincere sound, creating music that speaks gently but stays with you.
CICADAS
Obscurity on the stage. The light is turned on and the wood of the instruments shine.
We are invited in the intimacy of three musicians and friends. Three cicadas, in their garden/living-room, who sing and play their strings. A Folk-pop music, with celtic and jazz influences, which mix nostalgia, joy, sadness and frenesy.
Accompanied by Camille and Jarod, Tweed tells us his molt : the transition to adulthood , the changing of countries, the constant passing between contemplative state and the life swirl of emotions. The southern light is reflecting in Brussels stormy rain, catchy melodies are mixed with instrumental virtuosity, the harp hangs its pearly notes on the soothing deepness of the bass and the dynamic rhythmic of the guitar.
A voice starts to sing and two others are supporting it. It’s CICADAS who’s welcoming us, and it feels good.
